Sincere thanks for Donations for the new Lingern Defibrillator

Thank you so much to everyone who kindly donated to the Lingen Village Defibrillator Appeal.

The appeal has not only reached its target, it has substantially exceeded it and all thanks to you wonderful generous people!!!!

So, not only have we purchased the new updated defibrillator before the June deadline, but we also we have funds to renew the battery and pads when they expire in 4 years time (or before if used).

The total raised was £1640.00, which is amazing in such a short period of time and has ensured the availability of an up-to-date adult/child defibrillator for this rural community / village location. Of course, everyone hopes it will never need to be used … but it is there if ever it is needed.

Well done to this small community and sincere thanks again, be proud of your response, your generosity may save lives in the future!!

Lingen Bowls Club - end of season

The Lingen Bowls Club are our dedicated local team and have once again been competing against other local teams this season.

Despite their valiant efforts Titley won the league … and many congratulations to them … but our guys and girls were Runners Up in the quiz held at the End-of-Season Bowls Social. Wigmore won got 1st prize in that one!!

Our warmest thanks to all of the other local teams for another competitive season and thanks also to Titley for hosting the wonderful social.

Don’t worry though … Lingen Bowls Club are already honing their bowling skills for next season’s gladiatorial challenge in the local league!!!!!

They are always looking for new players, so if you want to join the team then it restarts in the Autumn

For those who use the excellent services provided by Pippa’s Ear & Foot Health Care Clinic, please note that her dates have now changed to Thursdays and Fridays.

So the Clinics will now be held 9am to 5pm every Thursday & Friday

Table Tennis - Now every Monday evening ... come along and enjoy!!!
