The Village Hall, opened in 1997 by Councillor Pauline Robinson, stands on the site of the old village hall. It was erected with financial help from Leominster District Council, the Southern Marches Partnership, Arts Lottery Funding and donations from many Charitable Trusts, local firms, local individuals and extensive local fundraising. 

It was designed by Mr Dennis Vickers and Mr Sid Stevens was responsible for the build.  Lingen Village Hall is reached by a pleasant journey through the wonderful border countryside but its rural position belies its very modern facilities.
